Meet Fletcher

Here's My Spiel

I provide counseling and psychotherapy services for adult individuals and couples. I earned a BA from Florida State University in both Marketing and Real Estate and a M.S. Ed in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Bonaventure University with high honors.

Before training to be a psychotherapist, I worked in community outreach and family systems as an associate member of Big Brothers Big Sisters. My clinical upbringing is also tied to the recovery/addiction population as I worked in case management for residential treatment centers in the Los Angeles area for several years.

Since 2018, I have gained diverse clinical experience at a number of community health counseling clinics in the Los Angeles area including Crosspointe Recovery and Hillside Wellness Center. I worked as a resident behavioral coach at the UCLA Adult OCD Intensive Outpatient Program and currently offer therapeutic services at the Children's Bureau of Southern California.

I believe that therapy is not about getting fixed. Rather, its emphasis and power lies in the attempt to better understand one’s self through the exploration of thoughts and feelings. This process of exploration enables us to live fully and more aligned with our wants and needs. Oftentimes an individual comes to therapy with an issue or perhaps a variety of issues. These challenges might cause distress or negatively impact an aspect of one's life in some way or another. This can be quite difficult and daunting. In the process of therapy, insight is developed through feeling, expression, and the courage to explore aspects of ourselves that we are strangers to. As sound psychotherapy takes place, meaningful change can occur and the tables may turn - managing it, instead of it managing you.
